“Garage Jam is the place to be for Musos !!! Whether you’re looking to take your first step in playing live with others or you’re in between global tours, Johnny and the Garage Jam crew are all about the music and having fun !! Perfect for those who need something casual cause they can’t commit the time to being in a band. I’ve loved every minute of it,but I know if I can’t make it next week, no big deal. PRICING AND VALUE

At Garage Jam, we offer jam sessions for $40 per musician, and we want you to understand the value behind it. When you join us, you get more than just a jam session. We take care of all the details, arranging the studio room hire, so you can focus on what you love – making music. You'll also gain access to our exclusive Facebook group, where you can connect with fellow musicians, seek advice, and expand your network.

Running a small business like ours comes with its costs. We have website and software expenses for smooth administration, ensuring everything runs seamlessly. Our dedicated owner, Johnny, invests a significant amount of time marketing Garage Jam and recruiting new talent, all to create an incredible musical community for you. You'll see Johnny's passion first hand as he shares exciting content on our social media platforms.

But that's not all! As a bonus, we host a FREE tri-monthly event at the Backroom. It's a chance for musicians like you to connect, form bands, and showcase your talent on an exclusive Garage Jam stage. It's all about building connections and providing opportunities for you to shine. So, come on board, experience the Garage Jam spirit, and let the music ignite your soul.

HOW DOES IT WORK?

Our system is designed around a 'tag in, tag out' principle. We encourage singers or musicians to prepare at least 7 to 8 songs that they can perform in full ahead of the jam, considering their potentially limited home practice time. You'll have the opportunity to add your song choices to the setlist on your group's Notion page and further discuss them in the group chat. We aim to have a backup for all roles - ideally, we'd have two vocalists, two guitarists, two drummers, and two bassists. Our main objective is to ensure that we always have a full band for each jam session, even if there are unforeseen cancellations.

IS THERE AN AGE LIMIT?

Nope, no age limit. Everyone is welcome. From time to time, we also have a teens group. We recommend parental supervision for jammers under 18 years of age.

DO I HAVE TO BRING MY OWN INSTRUMENT/S?

Yes, you have to bring your own instruments, The rooms will have mics, mic leads, stands, 412 guitar cabinets, one bass cabinet and a P.A.
